Who We Are

TEST CONSULTANTS, INC.
An Engineering and Management Consultancy Firm

established in 1968 by a group of professors from the College of Engineering, University of the Philippines. It was formerly known as Technics, Evaluation, Simulation, and Testing Incorporated (T.E.S.T. Incorporated). Initially organized to provide mainly testing and evaluation services, the company was transformed into an engineering consulting firm in 1972 together with the change into its present name.

Since 1972, TCI’s multi‑disciplinary staff of engineers, scientists, managers, and economists have provided comprehensive services including design of water pollution control facilities, design of air, odor and noise pollution control devices; solid waste management studies, design of water supply and sewerage systems, master plans, feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, project management, construction supervision, plant start‑up and commissioning, training, consultation and evaluation. In 1983, TCI pioneered the undertaking of environmental impact assessment.

In 1988,

TCI provides consulting services relating to: the design of water supply facilities; water pollution control and sewerage facilities; solid waste management, including nightsoil treatment; and flood control and stormwater disposal system. Complementary to these services, TCI provides engineering work on water and wastewater treatment and disposal system; on pollution control, using computer‑aided design, and drafting systems; and environmental impact assessment studies.

At present, the aggregate TCI professional staff numbers more than eighty-four (84) engineers, scientists and other professionals supported by an adequate number of full‑time personnel that render administrative, financial, secretarial, drafting, estimating, and other services. TCI’s capability but also expanded its scope of services.

The association makes available the expertise of over 150 specialists in various field of engineering including computer technology. TCI gaining in the process the confidence and patronage of hundreds of clients and has molded indeed a very strong and capable team to render various engineering services.
